It’s a Boy!
This is how we found out. Less than a week ago my husband and I found out that we’re having a boy. I had the ultrasound technician stuff the gender in an envelope so that my husband and I could find out together that evening.
I was shocked. I honestly had no idea I was pregnant with a boy. I had convinced myself of the joys of another girl and also thought about the joys of a boy. If I had girl, I could give Reese a sister that I never had and I could take them out for tea - this would be our thing. If I had a boy, I could give my husband a little boy that he could dress up so adorably (my husband loves fashion and has great style). That’s not to say I wouldn’t take my little boy for tea because I will if he has any interest.
So now that it’s confirmed we’re having a boy, I am really excited. I have no idea what the experience will be like but I am sure it will be new, challenging and fun! I grew up with three brothers and have seen first hand that boys have a lot of energy! My daughter has a ton of energy too so I’m hoping this has prepared me for what’s to come.
If you have a little boy, what is one thing I need to know about them?

Sorry about my typos. I sit in front of a PC all day and my eyes get tired.
I have a 3 (almost 4) year old daughter, a 21 month old son, and a 3 month old son. The main thing you should know is that boys and girls really are so very different. One big way is with speech. Don't sweat it or think your toddler is a little slow because he doesn't have the same vocabulary that your daughter had at that age. He's a boy, and they're usually far less verbal than little girls.
Have fun. I'm loving my world of boys, but it's lovely to go to tea parties as well with my little girl. Those of us with at least one of each really get all the fun, don't we?
Gabrielle, very good point about speech. In general I think I'm going to need to remember not to compare my two kids so much because as we all know... each and every one is so very different. I think it's going to be a blast! I mentioned on the podcast that what worries me most is wondering if he'll be colicky like my first. Eeks!!
Jessie, your comment must have not come through so we didn't see any typos :).
