Travel Bug

Now that I’m way too pregnant to go anywhere far, I have the travel bug. One of my clients, My Little Swans, is a family travel website, so I spend a good chunk of each day looking at amazing trips to take with kids in tow. It’s hard to look at pictures of kids making friends with Maasai Warriors or riding a carousel in Paris when I know we are going to be homebound for a while.

However, I also know that I will travel with my kids. It won’t be as easy or care-free as travel was when it was just me and Shaun, but it’s important and magical just the same (or maybe more). I find myself using this travel calendar to figure out where and when our next big trip should be. I’m thinking Western France or Provence, next spring. A few weeks in a country cottage, biking distance from a quaint village, sounds like the best place on earth.

Super helpful tool for planning where to go when.

It’s my husband’s dream to take the boys on safari. I think it will be about 10 years until we can make that happen, but I think it would be well worth the wait. Do you have a dream trip you’d like to take with your kids?

I'm impressed! I love to travel too but everyone tells me that my travelingl days are over for the next few years if I have two babies/toddlers. I admire your spirit and agree it can be done! Renting a little place in the French countryside sounds absolutely perfect! I'll definitely check out My Little Swans!
